“Cheap pedicures, perpetual sun, guilt-free careerism, seeing Vincent Price
at the 7-Eleven, having a backyard, no cockroaches, true love,
and Disneyland. Everyday is like Saturday.”

— Ann Magnuson, performance artist and singer for Bongwater

“It’s a great place to live, but I wouldn’t want to visit there.”
— Mark Twain

A word about Los Angeles weather
June in Los Angeles can be characterized by overcast or partly cloudy skies and fog early in the mornings and evening. However, clear blue skies are also common and it never rains. The average temperature for June is 65, but it typically reaches the mid-70s during the day and then drops off to low-60s in the evening.

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 so it should be relatively warm, but the temperature can fall quite quickly so we recommend bringing something warm, like a light jacket or poncho.

Also, as a general rule of thumb, if you’re out and about town, bring a jacket with you. You can always spot tourists this way: they’re the ones who are eating dinner outside in flip flops and a tank tops, shivering.

Parking
FYI, when you park the rental, be sure to pay close attention to any parking signs, LA is lousy with parking by permit only signs and they are always cleaning the streets somewhere.
